I have lumbar and mid back herniated discs, fibromialga and another autoimmune disease so I have chronic pain for several years. A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to lay on one of the Bio-Mats by Richway and did feel relief being able to lay flat on my back which is normally very uncomfortable. However, I found that the cost was prohibitive and even the woman whose mat it was told me she discontinued working for them because the price was so high and I personally am not interested in multi-level marketing.
I started researching mats sold on Amazon and found Healthy Line and Sensible Decisions. First, I spoke at length with Michael, the owner of Healthy Line and he was so helpful to talk to me several times explaining in detail how his mats have the same NASA Technology and the truth is none of these companies spend the millions of dollars it costs to be declared a “medical device” that insurance will cover. His mats are well-made in the USA and I’m convinced it has the same or similar quality as Richway. Not only am I experiencing pain relief, but I’m continuing to lose weight.
I wanted an all amethyst mat as well and found a 30 x 20 inch one that fit my love seat and matched my furniture perfectly from Barbara at Sensible Decisions . She too was extremely knowledgable and helpful to talk to. She also has a health blog which is full of good information and we have shared various health secrets we have discovered.
I really feel all three mats are quality products and I couldn’t be happier. From Healthyline, I got the small 18 x 18 inch for my living room Lazy boy recliner and it is wonderful to lay back on and matches my furniture very nicely. I also bought the 72” mat that has a combination of amethyst, tourmaline and jade for my bedroom and that one is also amazing to lay on especially if I want to have a full body sweat which can be achieved by laying a towel on top and bottom.
For those interested in weight loss, I recently bought a sweat suit at Target so that if I really want to sweat and not get my towels all wet, that is a great option. Something most interesting is I do believe that these mats are burning the calories that it says because I was on a Fast Metabolism Diet for 28 days up until the holidays and lost 7 pounds. I got the mats right before Christmas and even though I have continued to eat dark chocolate almost every night, I have continued to lose another four pounds. I was only seeking pain relief but found that these mats do everything the brochures say they will do.
